Pick a Flick - Autumn 2024
Pick-a-Flick is for retired people of Goring, Streatley and South Stoke. A film show and light lunch are provided every 3rd Thursday of the month (except August) from 10:30am to 2pm in The Canterbury Room at St Thomas' Church, Goring.
The cost is £5.00 per event including a light lunch. Please contact Jenny Boyd or Sarah Fraser to book in and to ask for transport if you require it. We look forward to hearing from you.

When Max, a workaholic bond trader, is left a picturesque estate in the South of France he sees it as an opportunity to cash in the vineyard and pocket the profits. She is helped by clergyman St John Rivers and, as she recuperates and looks back upon the tumultuous events that led to her escape, Jane wonders if the past is ever truly past.

Robin Williams stars as a difficult actor and husband who separates acrimoniously from his wife and receives a court order limiting his visits to his children. As a result, he dresses up as a Scottish nanny and gets gainful employment with his ex-wife looking after his own children.
